The University of Western Australia (UWA) is a public research institution situated in Perth, Western Australia. Its foundation dates back to 1911 through a legislative act, and it commenced academic activities in 1913. UWA stands as one of Australia’s oldest universities and is recognized as a “sandstone university,” an accolade granted to the oldest university in each state. It is also ranked first in Western Australia for graduate employability. Fee Structure

For Domestic Students:

  • Australian students pay tuition fees, but most of these fees are subsidized by the Federal Government.
  • Australian citizens, permanent humanitarian visa-holders, and New Zealand citizens with a Special Visa Category can cover the remaining fee, called the student contribution, using a HECS-HELP loan or by making a payment to the University.
